Categories High School Amazon DeepRacer Early Successes

The first group of DeepRacers have been creating, training and testing models for their autonomous cars. It has been fiddly to set up, but now we know how to make it all work.

This video shows one student's model (which came top of our virtual race leaderboard).
- The platform (AWS DeepRacer) was used to create a Model (parameters for training)
- It was trained, cloned, evaluated and trained again in AWS.
- The Model was submitted to a virtual Agent (car) in a virtual race, and made it round the virtual environment (track) in 13 secs.
- The same Model was downloaded and installed to the real Agent (car) and tested in the real environment
